Presenting at the December KM Forum Boston

ImageI had the honor of speaking at the Boston Knowledge Management Forum on Monday. I was joined by Kathleen Gilroy of the Otter Group (who wrote a piece on the event beforehand) , Susan Dobscha of Bentley College, and Kelly Drahzal of IBM. I was also on an enterprise blog/wiki vendor panel led by Kathleen (thanks Kathleen!).

For the talk, I used material from my November KM World presentation which defines "blog" and "wiki" terms while disentangling the use cases from the technologies. The definitions and context I provide is ultimately a platform for explaining how the technology is applied at the enterprise level.

At every conference I visit, there is a continuance of confusion about the meaning of these terms, so over the holiday break I will put together a blog post or two as a means towards explaining the difference (or lack thereof) between blog and wiki, and what it means for "Enterprise 2.0."
